Early Headstart Program Overview & Enrollment Process:

Our Early Head Start (EHS) programs cater to infants, toddlers under the age of three, and pregnant women, providing intensive and comprehensive child development and family support services to families in need. At Isleta Head Start and Childcare, we’re committed to ensuring that every child and family receives the support they need to thrive.

Tailored for the unique needs of infants and toddlers, our Early Head Start programs focus on promoting their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development through safe and enriching caregiving experiences. By providing a nurturing environment that fosters growth and learning, we prepare children for continued success in school and life.

Many families receive Early Head Start services right in the comfort of their own homes! Our dedicated home visitors work closely with parents and their children, meeting once a week to watch, think, and plan ways to support the child’s learning and development. Through meaningful parent-child interactions, daily routines, and household materials, we empower families to be active participants in their child’s growth journey.

In addition to home visits, families also have the opportunity to participate in group socializations on a monthly basis. These gatherings provide a supportive and collaborative environment where children, parents, and home visitors come together for interactive activities and shared learning experiences.

Join us at Isleta Head Start and Childcare, where every child’s potential is nurtured, and families are empowered to thrive. Together, we’ll create a brighter future for our children and our community.
